Sick of having a 4 burner cooktop but only 2 that work properly? Or an oven that burns one side of your Sunday roast but barely cooks the other? It’s probably time for an upgrade!

This is about the time you want to call Wilton to have a chat about what this involves.
If you're going from a basic free standing oven to a luxury Smeg or Belling you may need to upgrade your capacity at the main switchboard.

Switching from gas to electric? Most likely you’ll need us to upgrade your cable to carry the capacity of your new oven which can be quite easily be done & Glenn can always quote so you know what you're up for before you commit to purchasing your new appliance.
Be mindful of the space of your existing oven in comparison to your new one, a great way to keep cost down is buying an oven of the same size to save the cost of needing joinery amended.
Let's talk cooktops! First of all, if you don’t have an isolation switch for your cooktop, it is now a basic Australian electrical standard. From there you need to ensure your cabling can carry your new cooktop as upgrading can often mean more power usage.
Secondly, much like your oven, making sure you have exactly the same or very similar dimensions as your existing cooktop is going to save you the hassle of bringing an extra trade, joinery, in for restructure. We have all the equipment to make minor bench top amendments & always happy to do so!
New kitchenware always feels good & can re-inspire you in the kitchen so don’t hold out any longer! We are always happy to pick up your new oven or cooktop & take away the existing, which saves you the hassle of mess or a trip to the tip! Making your experience as seamless as possible is priority.
